On Friday, my youth pastor announced that my youth group was going on a missions trip to Mexico. We were going to go to Baja to help run a camp for orphans. My heart started to beat really fast and as the pictures flashed across the screen, I knew I wanted to go on this trip. I needed to go on this trip.
You see, ever since I was 10 years old, I've had this dream of working in missions. I've always wanted to go to Africa but I think God is opening my eyes up to other places...places like Baja, Mexico.
I'm became very excited - the most excited I've ever been about anything. I talked about this with my parents and friends and we decided that I should go to Mexico in July 2010.
I feel like I can make a difference in this world. A small difference, maybe, but a difference nonetheless. And that difference might just start in the heart of Baja.
I've created this blog because I have some artwork and will sell them for any donation to help me get to Mexico.
